The Bonita Optimist Club sponsors Junior Optimist clubs at Bonita Vista High, Bonita Vista Middle, Otay Ranch High School, Rancho del Rey Middle School. With special guidance and support from a sponsoring Optimist Club, an Optimist Youth Club  completes fun projects and activities to improve the community and  better the lives of its residents. Members have opportunities to polish  leadership skills, manage money and practice good citizenship. These  “hands-on” experiences help prepare students for college and adulthood!  More schools should start Junior Optimist clubs!

Making international friends, attending  educational workshops, and training to be leaders will fill the time  between the talent show, formal dinner, election and closing dance.  Adult Optimists will help support new junior officers, so contact E Lucca before April 30 to get the details.
