Welcome to the Bonita Optimist Club
We are a group of about 115 men and women from the Chula Vista and Bonita areas of San Diego County. Our purpose is to help the youth of our communities to be the best they can be both now and in their futures.
Our Meetings:
Thursday morning meetings are from 7:00am-8:00am.. Beginning in September we will again have our evening meetings. These are held on the first Thursday of each month beginning at 6:00pm. They will be held at the Bonita Museum which is next door to the Bonita Community Room.
The cost of the evening meetings varies depending on the event.
Our morning meetings are currently being held at the Bonita Community Room located at 4375 Bonita Road Bonita 91902 (evening meetings are nest door at the Bonita Museum located at 4355 Bonita Road). Due to some structural damage to Rohr Manor, all meetings and events are being moved to these spaces. It is a beautiful setting right next door to the library and on the Chula Vista Golf Course.
Our cost per breakfast is only $8.00 for a full, freshly cooked, buffet breakfast. Our evening meetings usually cost $12.00 (unless there is a special holiday event). Please give us a try and find out how Optimists are so different than any other group!
JOIN US FOR OUR BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT! IT WILL BE HELP FROM DEC. 27-DEC. 30 AT BONITA VISTA HIGH SCHOOL. PLEASE JOIN US FROM 10:00AM TILL 7:OOPM EACH DAY TO SEE SOME WONDERFUL AND FUN TALENT ON THE BASKETBALL COURT! THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE TEAMS ALSO FROM AUSTRALIA AND CANADA TO ADD TO THE ENJOYMENT!!
