Dance For A Cure 2026
The Junior Optimist Internation Club sponsored the Dance for A Cure 2026 at Eastlake High School Ruth Chapman Theater on Saturday March 21st, 2026. Cait Yance, Minhtu Nguyen, & Maddie Grapilon, Eastlake Junior Optimist Officers introducing their program to 400 attendees and explaining the Optimist Organization and support for students.
They shared how the proceeds will be added to previous donations for childhood cancer research through Optimist International. Incredibly talented young ladies.BECOME A MEMBER

Optimist International Oratorical Contest
Optimist International offers clubs a simple but spectacular way to get younger students involved in public speaking and prepare them for higher level Oratorical competitions. These contests are not backed by dollar awards, but encourage students to develop speaking skills and prepare them for future Oratorical contests. Optimist International Essay Contest
The Essay Contest is sponsored by Optimist International to give young people the opportunity to write about their own opinions regarding the world in which they live. The approach can encompass a young person’s personal experience, the experience of their country or a more historical perspective. In additional to developing skills for written expression, participants also have the opportunity to win a college scholarship!
